Sometimes I wish that they could see,<\/p>\n
Sometimes I wish they were not blind,<\/p>\n
Sometimes I wish that I could prove,<\/p>\n
That I’m so much more that they could ever dream,<\/p>\n
or be, or fear.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I wish I could strike them with the worst of all curses,<\/p>\n
Just to show that I am able,<\/p>\n
Just to show that I am worth,<\/p>\n
of all that respect and admiration, but most of all that love I didn’t get to experience.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
But sometimes I also always realise that I don’t need all of that,<\/p>\n
That some of all those know I’m worth of everything they’ve given me<\/p>\n
That I am enough as I am.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
And when you experience your sometimes you should remember:<\/p>\n
The ones who appreciate you the most, are usually the ones who show it,<\/p>\n
Not the ones who say it.<\/p>\n
All we have to do is recognize those people and spend our time with them,<\/p>\n
Maybe even learn from them.<\/p>\n
